VelaaVani is a small, well-equipped beach hotel where the most-used facilities are simply always there: free WiFi in all areas, free public parking on site without reservation, an airport shuttle and paid shuttle service, a restaurant, room service, a spa and wellness centre, a fitness centre, non-smoking rooms and breakfast every morning by the sea.
Comfort and wellness
The spa and wellness centre offers full-body, back, neck, head, hand, foot and couples' massages, all available at an additional charge, and the fitness centre is open to guests who want to keep their routine while travelling. Beach umbrellas and beach chairs or loungers can be arranged for the day, and a picnic area, outdoor furniture and BBQ facilities make the outdoor spaces easy to enjoy in the evening.
Activities
Snorkelling, diving, fishing, canoeing, windsurfing and water sports on site can all be arranged, as can bicycle rental and bike tours for exploring the island, while cycling routes start right outside the door. In the evening there is live music and performance, karaoke, a pool table, themed dinners and evening entertainment, and the tour desk helps put together boat trips, sandbank visits and marine-life excursions.
Services at the front desk
The front desk provides private check-in and check-out, express check-in and check-out, baggage storage, currency exchange, an ATM on site, invoices on request, a tour desk, car rental, public transit tickets and a wake-up service. Housekeeping is daily, with laundry and ironing services available, and babysitting or child services, kids' meals, a children's high chair and a playground make family stays easier.
Practical information
The property is smoke-free with a designated smoking area, and safety is covered by fire extinguishers, a safe, CCTV in common areas and outside the property. There is a shared lounge and TV area, a minimarket and convenience store on site, fax and photocopying, air conditioning throughout and English-speaking staff. Check-in and check-out are both from 12:00 to 13:00, parties and events are not allowed, and pets are welcome on request with possible charges.
